The Ovolo Woolloomooloo Hotel is the latest project by renowned design firm Hassell. Hassell's talented team transformed an old wharf in Sydney, Australia into a chic boutique hotel space that draws its visual inspiration from the great outdoors.
A glass-constructed kiosk adorns the front lobby of The Ovolo Woolloomooloo Hotel and is the building's customer service kiosk. The structure boasts a pointed, triangular roof and is built to resemble a botanical greenhouse.
Featuring living trees and lush greenery, this hotel carries its natural theme throughout its public areas like its bar, cafe and dining rooms. It's rooms however are much more contemporary, replacing botanical elements with bright colors and minimalist details -- for example, one of the luxury hotel's suites boasts a blue and pink color scheme that divides the space in half symmetrically.
