Opus 5 Architectes has recently worked on this media library located in France, which features a steel bladed outer structure. "The outermost envelope is a screen made from steel blades which not only blur the division between internal and external space, but also provides the visitor with a feeling of protection and serenity," as stated on DesignBoom.
Indeed, the media library constantly allows daylight to seep through various areas of the structure, ensuring that people are not cut off from the outside world. Various frames and contrasting design elements were used for this media library by Opus 5 Architectes, which results in a very interesting interior, as well as exterior. However, one of the best features are the blades of steel encompassing the outside area of the building, giving that form of protection to visitors.
