Aldo's One-of-a-Kind Store in Toronto Reflects the Neighborhood’s Spirit

'Aldo Alley' is the name of the new one-of-a-kind store design from Aldo, situated in Toronto’s Queen Street West neighborhood. While many retailers are in the habit of replicating a formulaic store design in destinations around the world, Aldo is experimenting with a hyper-local approach to design that celebrates the vibrant spirit of the neighborhood.

As the new footwear and accessory store design is located in close proximity to the city's Graffiti Alley, the exterior pays tribute to the local art scene and the building's immediate architectural surroundings.

On the inside of the store, consumers will find a high-tech shopping experience powered by video screens and a pre-ordering shoe system. For employees, the store also incorporates "endless shelf" technology so that the store's stock can easily be seen.
