Samsung teases a look at its new generation of the Odyssey Neo G9 which is set to have the first 8K Ultrawide gaming monitor. The official and full launch won't take place until CES in January next year. Users will need a DisplayPort 2.1-capable video card that will help with allowing the digital screen to reach its entire potential.
Notably, AMD has stated that the 8K is horizontal only, which may bring some concerns with getting as many vertical pixels as preferred. As of early 2023, there will be a range of other high-res DisplayPort 2.1 monitors to hit the market as well from brands including LG Dell, ASUS, and Acer to name a few.
