The Samsung Odyssey G8 has been announced ahead of CES 2025 as one of three monitor models that are expected to support precision gameplay and much more for consumers this year. The G81SF unit is reported by the brand to be the first 4K 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with a pixel density that comes in at 165 pixels per inch that will translate to ultra-sharp images. The panel in the display will deliver a 240Hz refresh rate along with a 0.03ms gray-to-gray pixel response time to further round out the high-performance nature of the monitor.
