Nudge Tags Help Users Prevent Food Waste by Reminding Them to Eat Items

It's commonplace for consumers to accidentally allow foods in their refrigerator to expire before they have had a chance to eat them, so the Nudge Tags have been developed as a digital solution to this issue.

The device works by being positioned on the front of a fridge and will utilize a series of Smart Tags that can be set up with each of the various items inside. Users can simply select the number of freshness days remaining before pairing it with the system, positioning it onto the food and eat according to the color of the illuminated tag to ensure items are all eaten before they expire.

The Nudge Tags also work with an accompanying app for easy, intuitive management.
