Nintendo recently announced its NS Glasses as an affordable option for those looking to enter the VR world with its Nintendo Switch. While the NS Glasses aren't true VR - a limitation brought on by the inability of the Nintendo Switch to support VR - they do manage to very closely mimic the effect of VR. The glasses accomplish this by playing with the colors on the screen, ensuring that all Nintendo Switch games can be viewed and played in VR.
Described as the "world's first headset for Switch," the headset resembles traditional designs in both form and function. The console itself is simply strapped to the front of the headset, while various straps keep the unit in place. The locking mechanism that holds the console in place leaves plenty of room for the vent holes and even allows the Joy-Con controllers to be attached while the device is in the NS Glasses.
