To put a fun spin on classic Easter egg chocolates, Waitrose is sharing a unique novelty Easter egg this year in a teapot shape. The Waitrose for Heston Teapot with Sugar Cube Chocolates features a caramel milk chocolate teapot that can be cracked open to reveal bitter cocoa nibs. For an upscale take on Easter confections, the treat comes with sugar cube truffles with earthy, floral notes from black tea, jasmine and earl grey.
To build upon the tea-inspired flavors, the texture-rich granulated sugar truffles also include bold and zesty ingredients like ginger, clementine and mandarin.
Before smashing the chocolate teapot open, those with a sweet tooth will be able to appreciate the design's intricate details, which includes a print of Peter Rabbit and a luxurious gold sheen.
