Walnut Shell-Created Tableware

SooA Choi Designs the New NOS Series of Tableware Looks

SooA Choi designs the new NOS series of tableware, which is made from a unique material. The Korean designer uses entirely natural materials that function as an alternative to glass and ceramics. Ceramics is the most used material when it comes to creating tableware.

NOS is made up of a blend of pine resin, Canauva Powder, and walnut shells, which come together to create new CMFs that are detailed with a variety of colors, light transmissions, and patterns. This happens due to grinding down a large number of walnut shells to a diverse range of sizes. NOS can be used to create many forms and sizes including small and large plates, glasses, vases, and more.
