This salvaged sculpture Nautilus by Ryan Lytle is so intricately detailed, one cannot imagine the amount of patience and determination that was required in order to create it. This piece of art was made by a Virginian art student who is clearly trying to make a name for himself as well as get some exceptional grades.

The sculpture Nautilus by Ryan Lytle is made out of bottle caps, keys, a lens from a gas mask and other recycled materials. The main focus of the piece is the wire, which is Lytle's favorite material to work with. As he sees it, "The wrapping and weaving style is cathartic in a sense. [...] It reminds me of the progression of life."
