Throughout history, many artists have chosen to make their own implements, much in the manner that this natural grass stylus allows. Designed by Ingrid Brandth, this writing utensil is reminiscent of the handle of an old calligraphic pen, requiring the insertion of a nib that best suits the task at hand.

It's up to the user to decide what sort of tip he or she would prefer, spoiled with the choice of anything from an elegant metal scrawler or a graphite stick, to a tuft of hairy bristles or a lovely little leaf. The bamboo doodler has a slot sliced into one end, enabling you to position your preferred head and to secure it with a cinching metal ring.
