Spiritual Stone Brushes

The 'Stone Brush' Creates a Spiritual Sweeping Experience in the Home

Thomas Yang and Makiah Roberts introduce the new organic 'Stone Brush.' The brush is made entirely of natural materials, is based on the fundamental human connection to the soil, and is fashioned in a natural setting. The designers employed natural resources in their New York neighborhood, such as stones from Trout Brook and palm bristles bound with beeswax, to make use of natural and locally sourced materials.

By incorporating an additional wooden frame, the product asks what we seek to clean and what we think deserves cleaning in an effort to reframe the ideas of utilitarian cleaning. The 'Stone Brush' encourages the user to connect spiritually with the organic tool, allowing them to sweep the ground in accordance with their spiritual intuition.
