Maxell MXCP-P100 Introduces Bluetooth Playback for Analog Tapes

The Maxell MXCP-P100 presents a portable cassette player that integrates Bluetooth connectivity into a traditional tape format. The device supports wireless audio streaming to headphones and speakers while retaining standard playback controls including play, rewind, and fast forward. A transparent cassette door, tactile buttons, and a side-mounted volume dial reference legacy Walkman designs. The unit measures 122 × 91 × 38 mm and weighs approximately 210 grams, housing both mechanical tape transport and wireless components.

Maxell’s player includes a rechargeable battery with up to 11 hours of wireless playback and USB-C charging support. A 3.5mm headphone jack allows wired listening alongside Bluetooth use. The device is available in black and white finishes, maintaining a compact rectangular form with a clip-on design for portable use
