Up-and-coming designer Wendy Legro created this awesome piece as part of her graduation from design school. 'Morning Glory' is comprised of small flower designs within a larger organic shape.

The piece has a sensor that closes the flowers when it's light out, letting in that sunshine, and opens the flowers after the sun sets. Legro wanted Morning Glory to represent a return to humans' natural relationship with the sun.

Implications - Legro explains that many people fill their homes with unnatural light that disrupts their biological clock. The Morning Glory helps people to remember that the sun is an extremely important part of a healthy life, since it is the world's natural light source. The artistic piece is not only great for bringing awareness to people, but it is also a fashionable decoration that has meaning.
