The Bloomlight S lamp has been designed by the Amsterdam-based VOUW Studio as an interactive floral fixture that draws inspiration from nature. The lamp is being exhibited at Dutch Design Week 2025 and starts off with an expansive 6.4-foot design that's intended to sit overtop of a user when they're seated on a sofa. The light is equipped with a built-in sensor that will detect the presence of the user and activate by blooming to reveal soft illumination from within the center of the flower-inspired light.
The Bloomlight S lamp is reported to use an average of 12W of power to give it a low-energy profile and can also be adjusted in terms of brightness by utilizing the built-in controls instead of a display or app.
