A VR Moon-Inspired Experience Will be Available at Select AMC Theaters

VR has yet to fully break into the commercial film market, but a new moon-inspired experience may just be the first step in VR movie theaters. Known as "First Man: The Virtual Reality Experience" this VR experience captures and follows Neil Armstrong's footsteps to the moon. The moon-inspired experience will be shown at various theaters across the US, including AMC Lincoln Square in New York City, and AMC at CityWalk Hollywood in California.

The moon-inspired experience showcased in "First Man: The Virtual Reality Experience" is designed to be fully immersive and begins in NASA's Mission Control in Houston. The entire adventure is portrayed amazingly through the VR headsets and are accompanied by haptic feedback thanks to full-motion chairs.
