Situated at a crossroads between a residential neighborhood and industrial marine territory, the building looks right at home among the surrounding architecture, most of which is outfitted in corrugated metal. The residence is a combination of corrugated metal and cedar sliding, allowing it to effectively integrate into the area's unique atmosphere.
Translucent screens made of perforated metal panels shield the interior from excess sun and wandering eyes. Inside, the sail making loft takes up the building's ground floor, while the residences are located on the two floors above.
