This mist installation turns HVAC into an art form. Mist Encounter is an award-winning interactive sculpture on display at the Taipei Fine Art Museum designed by Serendipity Studio and Kuan-Wei Chen Architects.
Mist Encounter consists of a simple wireframe scaffolding with mesh on a wooden platform and an internal water mist system. The limited time experiential event is an artistic solution to the museum's ongoing air conditioning renovations. As such, the architectural installation sits just outside the main building's entrance has a theme of 'in progress' that "responds to the impending renovation of the air-conditioning system in the Museum building with its water mist system and by creating awareness of otherwise invisible air conditioning."
