Pillsbury is Making Whole Grain Mini Pancakes in a Small, Frozen Format

Rather than selling full-sized frozen pancakes, Pillsbury is now making Mini Pancakes that offer a quick, easy and portion-controlled breakfast option that's especially ideal for kids.

The individually wrapped Mini Pancakes come in flavored varieties like Strawberry Splash and Maple Burst'n, which are made with a base of 100% whole grains and a formula that's entirely free from artificial flavors or colors; instead, natural ingredients like radish extract, spirulina and beet powder are used as flavoring and coloring agents. For added convenience, the small-scale pancakes come in heat-and-serve package designs.

Knowing that many consumers are scaling down the sizes of their meals in favor of more frequent on-the-go snacking, Pillsbury is now making an assortment of miniature breakfast products, including everything from bagels and toast to waffles.
