Hotel chain Hilton is offering young consumers a series of millennial hotel room rentals that are geared towards generations seeking simplicity and minimalism in design and accommodations, with a focus more so on having a clean and enclosed place to spend the evening. The line is known as Tru Brand and it will feature efficient rooms with the bare necessities to provide a comfortable stay.
The Tru Brand rooms are designed with simplicity in mind, opting more for functionality than luxury. The rooms are tailored version of Hilton's standard suites, featuring shrunken work desks, smaller closets and laminated floors over carpet to give consumers a flexible workspace and a quite room to sleep in. The simplicity in the design materials also allocates the hotel a quicker cleaning time, for a faster turn over.
