Recyclable Microwavable Food Pouches

These New Rice and Grain Pouches are Made with One Material

This microwavable food pouch packaging has been created. by J M Packaging (JMP) in partnership with FEI Foods to highlight a new approach to pouch-style packaging. The mono-material pouch packaging is designed for holding rice and grains, and can be easily heated up in the microwave without the need for a bowl or plate. The packaging is also highly recyclable to help make it more suited to the expectations of consumers.

Managing Director at FEI Foods Simon Lewis spoke on the new microwavable food pouch saying, "Quality and innovation are at the forefront of our DNA at FEI Foods. As a market leader in this category in Europe, it was imperative that we led the way in developing a recycle-ready pouch. We are determined to provide the most sustainable product possible, and the development of this pouch has been a key strategic objective for us for some years. 24 months of diligent testing of this new material has culminated in this launch. As a predominantly private label manufacturer, this is an outstanding achievement for our business, and the major retailers that we work with, now have a more sustainable offering for their customers.”
