Purina Introduced New Pet Food Packaging in the UK

These recyclable pet food pouches have been introduced by Purina in the UK to give some of the brand's products a more eco-friendly edge and keep them relevant for today's consumers.

The Nestle-owned brand is using the recyclable pouches for its Gourmet wet cat food across the Mon Petit range with additional products expected to use them in the near-future. The new packaging will be debuted in the UK, but also across Europe for a total of 20 countries in all.

Head of Packaging for Nestle UK & Ireland Sokhna Gueye commented on the new recyclable pet food pouches saying, "The new mono material pouches are another great example of our commitment to using simpler packaging, making recycling easier for pet owners. These new pouches demonstrate progress.”
