The Michigan Wine Chair Pours Libations at the Pull of a Lever

The Michigan Wine Chair has been created by Matt Thompson of Thompson Woodworks as an unexpected piece of outdoor furniture that will provide sitters with a glass of their favorite libation.

Featuring a Rube Goldberg-inspired design, the chair works by having the sitter pull a lever indicating their desired amount of wine and letting the system do the rest. This activates the pouring system that will deliver the wine right to the hand rest for easy access without ever having to get up from the seated position.

The Michigan Wine Chair has been created by Thompson in a one-off manner that is not available for purchase, but does provide inspiration for avid DIYers who might try their hand at creating a similar seat.
