There is plenty of budget-friendly Mexican cuisine to be enjoyed around the world, but these Mexican tacos from Frida at the Grand Velas Los Cabos do not fall into this category. The luxury resort recently introduced a $25,000 taco that is made with some of the most premium and rare ingredients as assembled by Executive Chef Juan Licerio Alcala.
Everything from the gold leaf-infused corn tortilla shell to the interior filling of Kobe beef, Almas Beluga caviar and black-truffle brie cheese exudes decadence. To top it all off, there are also generous gold flakes adorning the finished taco dinner.
To add to the opulence of ordering the $25,000 taco, the Frida at Grand Velas Los Cabos resort also offers a Ley .925 Pasión Azteca Ultra-Premium Añejo tequila for $150,000.
