The 'Hillary Clinton: Meme Queen 2016' Ad Has a Fake Hillary Acting Out Memes
Hayley McGlone — August 13, 2016 — Pop Culture
The 'Hillary Clinton: Meme Queen 2016' ad features a Hillary impersonator acting out famous memes.
The 'Hillary Clinton: Meme Queen 2016' is a parody campaign ad that has a Hillary lookalike making lots of references in a blatant attempt to relate to Millennial voters. The video, which was produced by Super Deluxe, is meant to spoof the typical Millennial-oriented political campaign ad. The Hillary impostor references 'damn Daniel,' 'Kermit sipping tea,' the Harlem shake, Grumpy Cat, Doge, vaping, dank memes and "doing the dab." The video even includes Hillary's remarks on Pokémon Go with, "Pokémon Go to the Polls."
The concluding tagline for the ad is, "Don't let your memes be dreams." The comical ad was paid for by the Hillary for American campaign. The ad does manage to include a few of Hillary Clinton's campaign platforms like education reform and gun control.
