The consumer will assume that this medicine bottle syrup packaging is representative of healthy contents. Looking a great deal like the sort of vessel that you would spot on a pharmacist's shelf, the product is actually a flavored beverage with natural zing.
Les Charlatans sirops come in Ginger, Lime & Pepper, and Orange & Rosemary––foods that all have incredibly beneficial properties in terms of vitamins and general nutrition. It only then seems sensical that the product should be aesthetically equated to an elixir, and more specifically with a reference to the cure-all concoctions of a century back. It's a bit of a joke, really, that the producers of these blended liquids go by the name that they do, for it's a tongue-in-cheek suggestion that these medicine bottle syrups are scrumptious-tasting shams.
