Mechanical Keyboard Switch Series

Akko Debuts U1 Series of Mechanical Switches

Akko — a mechanical keyboard accessories brand approaching its 10th anniversary — has introduced its new U1 Series of mechanical switches. The release debuts the Creamy Yellow U1 model, which features a newly engineered POM-blend material that retains self-lubricating properties while improving smoothness, consistency, and acoustic performance. The design is complemented by a redesigned cylindrical stem, optimized rail structure, and upgraded top housing that work together to produce a focused, lower-pitched, thocky sound profile while suppressing spring ping and unwanted resonance.

Akko's Creamy Yellow U1 incorporates dedicated internal structural upgrades that combine the crisp character of the previous V3 version with the deeper sound of the V5 version. Other options include the Creamy Purple U1, the Piano U1, and the Crystal Silver U1.
