Akko has introduced a new themed mechanical keyboard design at the IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin, and the silhouette pays homage to the Year of the Snake. The product is part of a series of annual releases that integrate elements of cultural heritage that specifically draw from Chinese mythology for design inspiration.
Akko's Year of the Snake-inspired mechanical keyboard design is constructed with a metal case and features detailed engraving, alongside an ergonomic split-key layout known as an Alice design.
Concurrently, the company is emphasizing the worldwide expansion of its magnetic switch technology, showcased in two new high-performance models built for rapid response, which will also be offered in layouts catering to European markets. This technological initiative includes plans to adapt the magnetic switches for a wider variety of keyboard sizes.
