Dr. Martens Year of the Snake Collection Has Red Soles and More

The Dr. Martens Year of the Snake Collection has been created by the footwear brand in celebration of the Lunar New Year to provide consumers with a pair of shoes that could help to bring them good luck in the year ahead.

The footwear celebrates the Year of the Snake that includes the brand's classic 1460 lace-up boot alongside the low 1461 lace-up shoe that are each paired with a snakeskin-inspired print on different parts. The shoes each have a red sole that further reinforces the Lunar New Year-inspired nature of the footwear styles.

The Dr. Martens Year of the Snake Collection also includes a vintage leather backpack that's also accented by a snakeskin texture embossment as a subtle nod to the intelligent serpent.
