Snake-Honoring Whimsical Sneakers

Nike Celebrates LNY With an Air Jordan 11 Low Model

Nike introduces a new iteration of the Air Jordan 11 Low sneaker model to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year celebrating the Year of the Snake. It is officially dubbed the Air Jordan 11 Low CNY Year of the Snake and the silhouette joins the brand's overarching collection comprised of other celebratory silhouettes.

The cultural significance translates through unique motifs along the model followed by some Jordan branding details. At a closer look, the shoe has the snake symbolism in a whimsical way with a subtle pattern and iridescent palette at the toe box section. This visual element is the main enhancement as it rests on top of a predominantly white canvas made from tumbled leather materials.
