One of the co-founders of ClassPass has now launched a new venture, MealPass, which does exactly what ClassPass does for fitness, but now, for food.
A monthly MealPass membership costs $99 and gives members access to lunches every weekday from participating restaurants that serve everything from pizza and bagels to sushi. When it comes to crunching the numbers, this investment means that it's possible to have all weekday lunches taken care of for less than $5 a day.
To use the service, members simply use the app to select a meal from over 100 participating eateries. Then, they can immediately pick up their meal and skip the line, since the membership already covers the costs. As of now, MealPass operates only in New York, Miami and Boston.
