Preservatives and artificial flavors have come under fire from many consumers that are seeking to only consume foods with a more natural profile, so brands like McDonald’s USA are addressing this with newly revamped menu offerings.
The QSR brand has announced that it will eliminate artificial flavors, artificial preservatives and artificial colors from its permanent menu foods to the delight of consumers across the country. This change will effect all of the 14,000 restaurant locations that are present throughout the US and comes as part of the brands shift towards making changes that are driven by consumer preferences.
McDonald’s USA has also committed to a number of other changes like using 100% fresh beef in its quarter-pound burgers and even using cage-free eggs by 2025.
