The McDonald's Pokémon Happy Meal is being brought back to the QSR brand's participating locations in the US to provide diners with a way to get involved in the trading card action. The meal features the traditional offerings, which consists of a main dish with a side and a drink, and also comes with a four-pack of trading cards that continue the Match Battle theme from the previous launch of the promotion. A total of 15 cards are available for diners to collect, which includes a range of characters from the Pokémon franchise with each pack also containing a special holofoil card.
The McDonald's Pokémon Happy Meal will come packaged in Pikachu-inspired packaging as well as a sticker sheet and special edition Pokémon coin.
