McDonald's Introduces a New Pokémon Happy Meal with a Card Game

McDonald's introduces its latest campaign in the form of the Pokémon happy meal. It offers fans a side quest in the United States which is made in collaboration with The Pokémon Company. The fast food chain is asking fans to collect the exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game cards that are found in their Happy Meals.

The Dragon Discovery campaign officially launched in the US on January 21, 2025 and this will run through February 24. Casual fans and collectors will have a chance to get their hands on some special edition Pokémon cards with their meals and share this experience. Each Happy Meal comes with a four-card booster pack that has one of 15 collectible cards -- seven which are holographic.
