Aspiring artists should check out the MASScanvas Challenge 5: Stane Lee, not only to get their creative juices going, but to help out for a good cause.
MASScanvas is an organization that arranges t-shirt design contests inspired by a famous artist and a unique theme, with the winning tees sold in support of a featured charity. Rock band My Chemical Romance was one of the first ones to join, and now Stan Lee himself is encouraging others to take part in his competition. As expected, the co-creator of characters such as Spiderman has chosen a theme called 'World of Heros.' The chosen charity for the MASScanvas Challenge 5: Stane Lee is the John Wayne Cancer Institute.
The submission deadline for this contest is November 20th, 2011. Winners will receive a $5000 cash prize and will be announced on Dec.8th, 2011. All sale proceeds will go to Lee’s chosen charity.
