Terry Fox Foundation's #DearTerry Campaign Celebrates His Legacy

The Terry Fox Foundation recently opened registration for its 43rd annual run, and launched its #DearTerry campaign in support of cancer research while celebrating Terry's lasting legacy. Participants can now register for the Terry Fox Run, taking place on September 17, and can further support a noble cause with a purchase of a limited edition #DearTerry shirt. The shirts are adorned with a picture of the athlete, hand-drawn illustrations of his sneakers and medal, along with text taken from letters sent to him and his family from those he inspired.

The Terry Fox Foundation's #DearTerry initiative was launched to encourages people to share how the famed runner's legacy has inspired them. People can share messages on social media channels, through mail-in letters and on the Terry Fox Foundation website, with the chance of being featured in an upcoming fall run campaign. The run campaign will also feature a custom commemorative #DearTerry poster designed by artist Mutant 101®.
