Marta Sansoni's 'Maggio' lamp was created for 'Studio Italia Design.' This laser-cut lamp is intended to remind the viewer of springtime with its woven branch motif. This suspended lamp has an oblong shape and a white polycarbonate diffuser that covers the light source, giving the piece an ethereal look. The structure of the lamp looks as though stylized branches have been woven together to give any space an organic aesthetic. The lamps are available in a 'Coppery Bronze' or 'Matte White' finish.

Marta Sansoni is an influential, Florence-based designer, best known for her work with 'Alessi.' Many of her creations feature laser-cut designs and ecological influences. Some of her work with Alessi has been featured in the MoMA.
