The Revolution brand plant-based burgers are being launched by Marfrig Global Foods as a new product that boasts a premium profile and a proprietary recipe. Positioned for foodservice chains and retailers, the burgers address the increasing demand for meat alternatives and will offer a satisfying option for consumers to choose. The burger will be available at Outback Steakhouse restaurants starting by the end of February 2020 with Chinese market exports expected to also begin in 2020.
The Revolution brand plant-based burgers were explained by CEO of Marfrig Global Foods Eduardo Miron who said, "We are constantly making progress in expanding our portfolio. And the launch of a proprietary brand that reflects the products’ quality and the company’s relationship with the client chain was a fundamental step in this process.”
