Restaurant-Style Frozen Plant-Based Burgers

Dr. Praeger’s Grillhouse Burger is Protein-Rich

Dr. Praeger’s Grillhouse Burger has been launched by the brand at Whole Foods Market locations to provide consumers with a way to enjoy restaurant-quality fare from home. The four-ounce burger patties are made with a blend of onions, carrots, sweet potato and butternut squash with steakhouse seasoning in the mix to give them a savory flavor that will pair perfectly with your choice of bun and toppings. The burger patties have no meat in the recipe yet contain 20-grams of protein to give them a satisfying nutritional profile that works well for lunch or dinner occasions.

Chief Growth Officer Jenna Behrer spoke on the Dr. Praeger’s Grillhouse Burger saying, "While many plant-based options in the freezer aisle aim to mimic meat, Grillhouse takes a different approach. We set out to create a burger with fresh-off-the-grill taste and bold flavor that just happens to be veggie-forward. This is about delivering the flavor and experience people crave, while staying true to our mission of better-for-you food.”
