'Yotoco' recently launched a line of sustainably produced beverages made with panela. Panela is a type of unrefined cane sugar that is typically found in Latin America. These vegan-friendly drinks use the sugar to deliver a hint of natural sweetness.
The new Yotoco beverages come in three varieties: Yotoco Moma, Yotoco Cosmos, Yotoco Kuka. Each of the these drinks are made with panela and a combination of exotic superfruits such as guava, açaí and pitahaya. The drinks contains a variety of health benefits, many of which come from the addition of panela. The dried sugarcane is rich in vitamins and minerals, as well amino acids, protein and antioxidants.
In addition to delivering a powerful nutrient boost, all of the ingredients are GMO-free and sustainably sourced from small-scale producers in Colombia. As a result, the drinks are perfect for eco-conscious consumers who are looking for a healthy beverage option.
