This Finnish Lunch Meat Packaging is Easy To Open For All
Rahul Kalvapalle — January 21, 2015 — Life-Stages
Finnish company Atria Plc, a leading food manufacturer in the Nordic world, introduced this senior-friendly lunch meat packaging to better cater to its older customers. The packaging for these cold cuts features grip tabs on the top and bottom of the package rather than adjacent to each other as is usually the case. This makes it easier to open for seniors who may not have the greatest strength or dexterity.
This lunch meat packaging was designed by Finnish package design agency PackdesignID. While such easy-open packages have long been employed in drug packaging, it's relatively new in the food industry.
Not only is this packaging easy to open for seniors and others with diminished dexterity, but it also closes securely and keeps the meat fresh and tasty.
