Accessibility-Focused Packaging Designs

Müller Debuts Accessible Packaging Designs

Müller has announced a significant update to its product offerings as the brand debuts its new accessible packaging designs. The venture seeks to make shopping more accessible for visually impaired individuals.

Müller will incorporate NaviLens codes on all branded products, a pioneering move in the UK's dairy industry. These high-contrast codes, which can be detected by smartphone cameras from a greater distance and wider angles compared to QR codes, enable users to locate and scan them with ease. The accompanying NaviLens app provides audio and haptic feedback to assist in centering the code within the camera frame.

Once scanned, the app can read aloud important product information such as ingredients, allergens, nutrition, and recycling details, or display it on the phone for users to read with accessibility tools.
