Advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt has launched a clever campaign for Corona Extra called 'Luna Corona.' The brilliantly executed billboard shows a bottle of Corona on it, surrounded by several waning and waxing images of the moon. On certain nights of the lunar cycle, the bottle is perfectly lined up so that it looks like the moon is a slice of lime in the top of the bottle.
The idea itself is simple enough but requires a lot of calculations to execute properly, so the agency enlisted the help of universities and planetariums to plan out the logistics for this billboard. The 'Luna Corona' is an ingenious way to use the luminous light of the moon to draw attention to a billboard.
