Eclipse-Inspired Beer Campaigns

DAVID Miami Creates the Global Corona Lime Light Campaign

On October 2nd, the world had a beautiful solar eclipse and Corona wanted to capture that moment so ad agency DAVID Miami formulated the Lime Light campaign. In a visual twist, the brand captures a photo of the partially eclipsed sun replicating a slice of lime that is resting on top of the bottle.

Brazilian photographer Marcelo Maragni who led the team in capturing the iconic photo speaks about the moment, sharing that it took only five minutes to find the right frame which is very impressive with all logistics considered. He states, “We had only a brief window to capture the moment due to the angle required to form the lime, and the results were truly incredible—perfectly embodying the essence of Corona."
