Loop and Tesco rolled out a large in-store refillable scheme for beauty products and cosmetics. The new service launched in 10 of Tesco's UK stores in support of a sustainable lifestyle through product packaging waste reduction. The 10 new participating stores follow the superstore's refillable service rollout, which started last year and was previously unavailable in stores.
The new eco-shopping method includes several beauty brand partnerships, including Nivea, Ren, Unilever's Love Beauty and Planet, Molton Brown, Bulldog Skincare, and more. Consumers can participate by collecting their empty product containers and bringing them into participating Tesco stores. Loop and Tesco's refill scheme works closely with brand manufacturers to quickly clean and refill emptied product containers for eco-friendly shopping habits.
