Locky Aims to Make Homes Smarter at a Lower Cost

Locky is a new smart key that aims to make homes more technological without breaking the bank. Instead of adding a smart lock to a home, Locky instead integrates smart features into a regular metal key. Designed as a housing for a standard key, the smart gadget uses some sensors and Bluetooth, and is able to tell when a user uses it to lock and unlock a door.

This feature allows for a few different uses. Firstly, the integrated app can communicate with the smart key and will track whether the door is locked or unlocked. This can feature can also alert users if the key goes out of range of a smartphone. The smart key also features a speaker which will emit a noise to help users locate it when lost.
