Fashion Office Redesigns

'Life In Vogue' Shows Off Design at the Famous Fashion Magazine's Office

As part of Milan design week, eight designers have partnered up with Vogue Italia for an exhibition called 'Life In Vogue'. The show gives each of the designers free reign over one of the rooms in the famous fashion publication's Italian office.

Some of the names in the group designing for Life In Vogue include Mario Bellini, Faye Toogood, and Patricia Urquiola. Bellini opted to create a series of wooden lattices stretching down a hallway in the Vogue office that he describes as akin to "the spine of a human being." Urquiola's design is aggressively colorful, looking as much like an art exhibit as a space for working. Toogood's room is slightly more subdued, though still impressive thanks to haunting images of faces in charcoal on the walls.
