King Digital Entertainment, known for the Candy Crush franchise, recently set up a pop-up event in New York to bring its Bubble Witch Saga 3 to life through laser tag games.
In the popular app-based puzzle game, users are challenged to take aim and pop as many bubbles as they can. To simulate this gameplay experience in the real world, an enchanted laser tag event was set up, complete with a maze that challenged teams to release the fairy queen.
This event was created in response to the fact that many American adults are looking to escape the stresses of day-to-day life through play. This movement can also be seen in collaborative escape rooms and ball pits specifically for adults.
