Immersive Gamebox and Netflix Launch a Life-Size 'Squid Game'

Immersive Gamebox, formerly Electric Gamebox, announced it is launching a full-scale, interactive format for Netflix’s 'Squid Game.' On September 21, 2022, Immersive Gamebox will launch its first adults-only (age 16+) multiplayer game. Players will participate in Red Light Green Light, Marbles, and the 'Squid Game' itself, among other challenges inspired by the series. Gameboxes, which are interactive digital smart rooms, allow players to test their reflexes and skills without wearing headsets, thanks to motion-sensing technology and touch screens.

“People are constantly seeking new and different ways to remain invested in their favorite content,” said Will Dean, CEO, Immersive Gamebox. “To reimagine Netflix’s most popular show in an entirely new format offers customers more ways to stay connected to Squid Game.”

In addition to Squid Game, Immersive Gamebox has created a growing library of licensed and original IP games, including the first lifesize Angry Birds game produced in partnership with Rovio Entertainment.
