Artist Tom Deininger creates his captivating landscape art series entirely out of junk and masses of found objects.
At a glance, the artwork is comparable to realistic landscape paintings as they are full of the depth, shading and hyperreal colors that make for truly astounding scenery portraiture. However, in direct contrast to the beautiful nature portrayed in the series, each image is constructed out of artificial materials such as plastic toys, discarded garbage scraps and other incongruous items. The complex arrangements of items clustered together here make for landscapes that are full of real, touchable texture that actually stands out from the flat canvas.
Tom Deininger salvages junk and transforms it into part of the natural world in his incredibly breath-taking landscape art collage series.
